Programs

Pulmonary Program

The Pulmonary Program is specifically designed to remove and maintain patients from ventilator support and to decrease oxygen requirements for patients with high flow oxygen and tracheotomies. This program incorporates a joint practice protocol under the direction of a board certified Pulmonologist.  Respiratory services include daily ventilator management by a Pulmonologist as well as 24-hour a day Respiratory Therapy. Multi-disciplinary services are provided to patients who are ventilator or tracheotomy dependent and require weaning or decannulization.  Also, patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, or those recovering from complicated Pneumonia, are predominate patients in our LTAC's.

Wound Program

The Wound Program offers many treatment options for patients with skin integrity problems such as Burns, Ostomies, Non-healing wounds, Post-surgical Wound Complications, Fistula Management and Decubitus Ulcers. Our approach to wound care management combines the services of a dedicated Wound Ostomy Specialist, the expertise of our team of Surgical Specialists, aggressive, nutritional protocols and access to the most effective advances in wound healing technology.

Infectious Disease Program

The Infectious Disease Program focuses on the treatment of infections and their complications as well as protecting patients from acquiring any further infection. Patients with infections are managed by a board certified Infectious Disease Specialist. Our clinical staff receives specialized training in the practice of infection control and antibiotic infusion. Conditions include, but are not limited to, endocarditis, osteomyelitis, bacteremia/septicemia, cellulitis, and fungemia.

Multi-System Medically Complex Program

The Multi-System Medically Complex Program provides protocols and proven goal-oriented treatment modalities for those patients with an acute episode of illness complicated by chronic conditions such as Diabetes Mellitus, Chronic Kidney Disease with or without Dialysis, Auto Immune Disease, and Cardiovascular Disease. This approach to disease management emphasizes a systematic coordination of services to effectively and safely treat seriously ill patients.
